Interactive’s Fred Thiele and Shane Lilley recognised as finalists in the 2025 Australian Cyber Awards

Interactive is delighted to share that Fred Thiele, Chief Information Security Officer, and Shane Lilley, Head of Internal Cyber Security, have been announced as finalists in the 2025 Australian Cyber Awards. This recognition highlights their outstanding contributions to the cyber security industry.

 

Fred Thiele has been shortlisted for CISO of the Year, while Shane Lilley is a finalist for Cyber Professional of the Year in the Technology, Media, and Telecommunications category. Their nominations place them among the nation’s top cyber professionals, acknowledged for their dedication to strengthening Australia’s cyber resilience.

The finalist list, which was announced on Friday, 28 February 2025, features over 200 high-achieving professionals and businesses across 29 submission-based categories.

Being named a finalist is a significant achievement, highlighting dedication and expertise. It signifies the unwavering determination and commitment of individuals, teams and businesses playing a pivotal role in propelling the industry forward.
